Perl Software Engineer - Brighton - £25k to £30k
Our software development firm require a Perl software engineer with experience of the whole life cycle of development. Our client develop in a Linux*Perl*Apache environment, so the successful candidate will be a very skilled Perl developer with experience of Object Oriented Perl, ideally with some Java experience, and a good knowledge of Linux, to be able to do some admin tasks without the need for a Linux administrator. UML (or other formal design techniques) and experience in creating, refining and interpreting technical plans and specs are critical. Good communication skills are a must, as you will be expected to meeting with clients on their sites. Degree in computer science, engineer or the mathematical sciences is strongly desirable.
